Bag/Purse Patterns

My muses have left me. I don't feel like sitting down and sewing or crafting at all. Which is really weird for me, but I assume the malaise will pass and I'll hit the ground running soon. In the meantime, check out (in no particular order) some very cute bag/purse patterns I've had bookmarked for a while but have never gotten around to making. But I will. Soon. Really.

Puffy Pouch by Pink Penguin as shown at Mary Janes and Galoshes

Pleated Purse pattern at My Spare Time

Phoebe Bag from Artsy-Crafty Babe

Japanese knot bag from Show Your Workings

Little Clutch Purse from 7 Layer Studio

Buttercup Bag from Made By Rae

What do you guys think? Which one should I start with, and in what color? And do you have any others to suggest I add to my list?

  2. Hi Kelli! Thanks for stopping by from New Friend Fridays! I love the purses above. Do you sell them or anything at craft shows? I can crochet scarves and hats but thats about it! I'd love to learn how to make bags, so fun! and I bet it would save a bunch to make them yourself. Good Luck with the inspiration! I love the Phoebe bag too, the most functional looking of the bunch and also pretty!

  3. I have wanted to make that pleated purse and that cute little pouch for a while now, but since I don't have fabrics yet, it is always just a plan. LOL! Good thing we are going out of town tomorrow and I can buy more materials. Yaye! :) Those are some lovely purses.

  7. I love the Puffy Pouch, I don't sew. I do have a sewing machine & I'm going to attempt making one. It will probably take me forever !!
